VOGUE cover girl Agyness Deyn is teaming up with Dr Martens to launch a new fashion collection. The range, which will launch globally this autumn, will feature clothing, accessories and footwear.
“The brand is a great fit for me, as it stands for strong character and being able to shape your own personal identity,” Deyn told WWD.
The model-turned-actress shares a long-standing relationship with the brand, having starred in its autumn/winter 2011-12 and spring/summer 2012 campaigns. She bought her first pair of Dr Martens when she was just 13-years-old.
This isn’t the first time Deyn has ventured into fashion design – she created her debut apparel offering for department store Barneys in March 2010. The British-born beauty can currently be seen on the London stage, in her theatre debut for new play The Leisure Society.
